Brad strolled through the gardens, re-reading the Illiad. There was something about this book that he really liked, although he couldn't put his finger on it. Milla sat on a bench and watched him as he paced around reading. He finally took a seat on a bench near her. He reached over and scratched at his cast before returning to his book.Read more... )

Craig walked in the door, his jacket already hanging off his arm, and collapsed onto a chair. He'd noticed David had been quiet on the drive home from the gallery, and wondered if he was thinking about his introduction to Jamie or if something else was on his mind. The snide comments they'd heard filtered through his head, and Craig prayed that hadn't upset him. Read more...

David paced around the room restlessly as he waited for Jamie to arrive. He hadn't been in one of *these* rooms in at least three months, and it felt a little strange. After thirteen years at Palace meeting a client shouldn't be a big deal, but Jamie wasn't a client. Bret was in the next room, which adjoined this one just in case. He trusted Jamie he hadn't felt him lie to him once at the Gallery but things could change. David just wanted to be prepared, besides his husband would have killed him if he hadn't at least had Bret close by. He almost laughed at the thought of how angry Craig would be if he tried to ditch his bodyguard. David sighed and looked at the door expectantly. Read more... )

Amy returned to her room with James. She had a very lovely day. They had been for long walks around Palace, she had played piano again and spent most of the afternoon strolling in the garden; that seemed to be her favorite place here. Read more... )

My dearest Craig, my love, my husband, my forever.

I am at work and wishing that I was at home with you, like yesterday, wrapped in your warm embrace.

Never believed I could ever be this happy. Never believed that I would marry someone who knew me so well, who cherished me as much as I cherish them. I will never take you or your love for granted. You have proven to me that love at first sight is a real thing, that soul mates truly exist. I once said like velvet and stone you are both my weakness and my strength and you are. I find myself weak in the knees when you gaze at me with those sparkling eyes of yours and I find my strength in you when the world feels like it is on my shoulders. I love you, now, and forever. I have my wedding vows written for the family wedding on the 11th and I can’t wait to share them with you. To tell everyone we care about how I feel about you.

On that note I still can’t believe we eloped the other night! I’ve found it hard not to tell everyone I see. Oh and love, we need to remember to send Connery a thank you card or something.

Your loving husband,
David

(OOC if you are seriously confused please see this post. David and Craig eloped.
