I know it's been a while since we last talked--and I do apologize for not dropping you a note before now...as I'm sure you know I'm back in Balize, have been for about a week now. I heard you went and got yourself moved out of Reception and into the pleasure service. I've met your replacement, fiesty little thing (but not as pretty as you of course!) I hope you're doing well, and I admit that this email is to ask for a bit of a favor.

My little sister, Julia, is in Balize now too--I've got her booked into the Grand View for now. Claude's still in Dnara and Julia never has gotten on with our other sister. Is there any way you could maybe spend a little time with her if you've got it? She could really use a shoulder right now, and quite honestly I think you're better suited for it than Claude or my other sister anyway. You've never met, but you're real easy to relax around darling, so I'm not worried. I am worried about her though, and I know there are just some things you don't tell your big brother.

I'd owe you one (and you know that's not something I like saying!). Just drop me a line or give me a call and we'll arrange something if you're able.

Ben, sweetie,

I was thinking of you the other day, wondering how and where you were. I heard from Mads that you are back in Balize, and I hope you drop by soon. Yes, I moved into pleasure service now, though, I am still in training only and not yet on the roster. Parker's a nice girl, I am glad it was her who took over from me as head of Reception and not one of the Chaos Twins.

Sweet, I will be more than happy to meet your little sister! Just send her up for the next visitors' day, and I'll see to it that we'll have a grand day. Though, I must admit, your mail makes me a little worried. Julia's not in trouble, is she? Well, I will see what all the mystery is about when we meet. You don't expect me to spy on her though, do you?

You owe me nothing, sweet, I am always happy to help a friend, and you know that, and I don't expect anything in return. Well, maybe there is... no, like I said, you don't owe me anything.

You've been at Palace so long, any way we could do an end run around that Visitors' day thing darling? I'd really appreciate it if we could. If we can't, when is the next V-day?

As for Julia being in trouble, well...she's just had some rough times and I'd like it if she had a female shoulder to lean on. I love my darling little Amy but I think you'd be better suited for this. As for being a spy, no I don't want you being a spy for me. Besides, if I wanted to spy we both know I'd have a more discreet way. Seriously though, I'm not wanting you to get info out of her for me, I want her to feel safe with you.

And I caught that Miss Mirry! What is it you need me to do, favor or not? Is something up? Fess up!

Really, it's nothing. Just a strange feeling I have lately, that's all. Don't worry, okay? If anything is up, I'll let you know, I promise.

I guess we can make something possible since I'm not on the roster yet and only in training. And because I've been at Palace for such a long time, there's a few classes I am allowed to skip, why don't you bring her up tomorrow? I've got no classes and Liv will be in her office all day... Damn, Ben, I am so happy!

Poor Julia! Of course I will be happy to be that shoulder to lean on for her. I know you have your ways of spying, I just wanted to make sure you don't expect a report from me about whatever she may tell me.

I hope you drop your sister off personally tomorrow, so we can have a quick chat, okay?

And oooh...do I detect some sort of romance and googly eyed interest in someone in your not so voice? Do share? Allow me to feel like a 12 year old girl and gossip for a moment.

Also, no--no reporting. I'll only ask if she tells you anything that I'd need to know because it's a danger to her or someone else. You can just tell me she said something, not even what, and I'll handle the actual 'grilling'. Other than that, I have no interest (well, that's not true--but I respect her privacy).

As I said, it's a strange feeling, nothing I can define as yet. As if something bad's coming my way... If I knew more, I would tell, really.

Sweet, you behave like a twelve year old girl often enough... sorry, only teasing, only teasing. Well, things are happening pretty fast as it were. Remember when I bored you to death with all my babbling about Liv when I started at Palace? Well, it appears that Liv feels the same way, and now... Liv is my Ipo, Ben. Do I really have to say more?
