OOC: This would have taken place shortly after this arrived, mun has just been busy!
When the envelope arrives, Ben honestly assumes it's simply something from one of his clients, or for one of his clients. He actually has to read it several times before his mind fully grasps exactly what he's holding in his hands, and from who. And maybe it's not the wisest thing to feel a little insulted and pissed off when the king himself arranges something like this--he can't help but have a twinge of those feelings.
However, part of him is glad to be off of the damnable case. If it's a big enough deal for the damned King to get involved, then he's not sure he actually wants a part of it anyway. Maybe it's better he leave it to the higher ups, though part of him can't hope the day will come when Harry will be able to deal with it on his own, and he'll come needing his help.
Laying the envelope aside, he knows the only person he can really, wisely, give a hard time to about what he's just received is, in fact, Harry. It wouldn't do very well to send a letter bitching at the King, now would it.
Shaking his head again as he reads the note one last time, he then puts it all into a very safe place before dialing Harry's number.
