Okay, am feeling a wee bit better about mom.. was really NOT liking her for a bit.. Understood some of the motivation.. but I have to deal with Katie's father hating me,us, and anything that alludes to an 'us'.. I was freakin' squinty eyed at her!!
But glad she came around! Feel much better now.. At least she's trying to try..
Yeh, know what you mean. Jason was having a lot of those moments - wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt but having his inner alarm bells go off every time she opened her mouth.
And I think he finally saw some of Cillian in her which helped.
OK, that was... good. Yeah, definitely good. Things aren't perfect, but then the story wouldn't work if they were, 'cause it wouldn't be at all realistic. They've made a good start, though, and I think Roisin will eventually come to be cool with Jason, maybe even care for him. It'll probably take a few years, given how seldom they're going to be seeing each other, but that's OK; everyone has time. :)
