Jake and Elijah before during and after the reception - *WARNING FOR DISTURBING CONTENT*

Elijah walked down the hallway a little nervously. He stopped and smoothed at his hair before walking to the ornate doors and stopping, biting his lip and looking around. Jake had told him what time to be here and to wait for him to come get him and escort Elijah into Craig and David’s Wedding reception. He still couldn’t believe that he was going to a royal family event, and as the Prince’s date. His mind wandered to the thought of Angel. She’d be thrilled when she heard about this, well, she would - after she kicked his ass for not telling her from the start. He shook his head, knowing that it was something he would have to deal with sooner or later, but not today.



Right now all he wanted to do was think about Jake and being invited to the reception.

Aw man, Jess/Jay, I told you guys already but this was unbelievable well written. Horrific but so truthful. You just nailed how abused people get in this cycle, and damn Jake's responses were so completely dead on. So many incredible lines but once again the points about 'don't make me hurt you' and 'watching as IT's face got purple', UGH!

I know it was terribly hard to write. *pets* both of you and *snuggles* you.

*Mum's gone really quiet and mad about Lija and Dom's just holding on to her, not sure what to say, just knowing how much he wants to help his friend.*

Damn, this is a kleenex week!

As hard as I'm sure this was to write it was done damn well. Words cannot express how throughly I hate Jake now, did before but now...I cannot possibly hate a character more.

Great stuff as always, guys. [hugz] I've got my rolled up newspaper AND my can of Raid, and I think I'm going to borrow one of Jim's guns for good measure. :/ Jake is definitely slipping farther and farther into the depths of whack-jobness, and poor Lij is following the exact same path he's already been down with Angelina. I'm going insane here, wanting to dash over and scoop up Elijah and haul him off someplace where he can stay safe and be deprogrammed. [flail]
