Michael was half-reclining on the sofa in the client room he'd reserved for Will's test. He'd finished going through his e-mail and was debating a game of solitaire. Their appointment had been for... eighteen minutes ago, and Michael was getting the distinct impression that he'd been stood up again.

Guy lay on his stomach on the bed, sorting the contents of the basket of lube by flavor. They really need to restock in here. If there are this many packages of pina colada, then clearly no one is using it.

The magazine had been rescued and now sat on the table, Eric casting furtive glances at it as he tried to avoid looking at it. He couldn't; it drew him in, inviting him to open up the glossy pages, blanching as his eyes focused on the hurtful image, slamming it shut, resisting the urge to throw it back in the bin. He paced the room as he waited for Sean to come up and see him. He'd said he would be soon, but how soon was soon? Eric was irritated at the amount of time he'd spent focusing on the defiled pages; he just wanted to talk about it, so that he could forget about it.
