I told you in chat how much I liked this piece, (use up all my good feedback in chat- I swear) and - hell... going to go and find actual chat bit. This was right after you'd fussed about there only being one plot point in the piece:
You know what? I liked that it was that simple. Something about that just hit. [Johnny] doesn't need the big preamble, the pin you to the ground and MAKE you talk like Harry and Sean do. He's like Christian - thinks about it for several days, and then just goes for it. (like how Chrisitan did with the with Harry/Christian convo where they finally talked about the raid.)
And I think that's truly the case here- even though you weren't intending there to be a parallel, it exists, nevertheless. It's simple and it gets the job done, and you see some great character stuff (echoes Jess) in quite a short little piece.
