Ahh, OK, that makes sense. I'm glad to hear you liked that part, actually, 'cause I was worrying when I posted this that most of the first scene just sort of dragged. There's only one real plot-point in the whole post and Jay'll tell you I was fussing a bit about that when I posted. Liam nudged me about the etiquette thing while I was writing Johnny coming in and sitting down, and it made sense to me from a therapy-and-rehabilitation POV, but I was afraid readers would be going, "Yeah, yeah, whatever, get on with it...." He wouldn't let me leave it out, though, so there it is. I'm happy it worked for you. :D
Your Gran'Pa sounds like a pretty smart guy. :) I wish someone had explained it like that to me when I was a kid. I thought manners were stupid until I was an adult. [duck] Now I read Miss Manners for recreation, and I'm amazed how basic and practical 95% of it is. LOL!
