Johnny went down to dinner that night -- a few minutes early so he wouldn't have to walk across the room with everyone staring at him. Assuming they felt like staring at him, which they might or might not, but why take chances? He was embarassed enough about the argument and had felt awkward around Adrian since that morning. He'd never been particularly brave and didn't feel like testing his courage right at that moment.

“I don’t like you.” Will sat on the steps at the front of Palace and looked down at his companion, who seemed unmoved by this revelation. She was taking little notice of Will’s pronouncement and instead stared stolidly down the hill, the breeze ruffling the gingham of her outfit.

Guy leaned back and closed his eyes, letting his head loll back on his neck as he inhaled deeply, the mist swirling all around him. Usually quite happy to be surrounded by other people, the steam room was the one place he actively sought solitude. Of course, that meant that he needed to be there either terribly late at night, like it was this time, or dead early in the morning, but it was worth it.

[A rude awakening… Harry Sinclair/Eric Bana. Warnings for extreme sap. Happens after the yet unposted scene where Sean asks Eric to David and Craig’s wedding reception.]

Harry got into the lift of Palace Proper and hit the button for the office level, planning to head in and get some work done, since he'd been, well not rudely awoken exactly, but had ended up awake earlier then he had planned. He leaned back against the wall and watched the doors close, then on a whim, leaned forward and hit the button for the Royal level, a grin forming on his face. He walked out of the lift and down the hall, searching for the right door. Now... if I've got his schedule figured out right, he should already have left for the day, but if I'm really lucky... Harry stepped up and knocked sharply on the door.
