Mum Finds Out

(follows this Harry shares the news with Elijah)

Humming off - key, Juliet fussed around the teacakes and biscuits. Harry's call that he was coming round for tea had been surprising but welcome. She knew her hopes were likely too optimistic but somehow she just couldn't stop the fluttering expectation that he might, just might have good news about Ali. Finally satisfied, she headed back into the kitchen to check on the water.

Good and bad news

Harry and Mum

(happens after Gina talks with Mum)

It hadn't taken much to get Harry to agree to come over for dinner which Mum counted as a blessing. She hadn't slept well, her dreams filled with images of the three kids, a mix of memories and worries intertwined to knot her stomach and bring on a migraine.

Checking on the roast, Mum whipped the potatoes, the soothing normalcy of it calming her nerves and steeling her resolve. We'll get through this. We'll find Ali. She'll be just fine. She's a smart lass. She'll be just fine.

Harry....

Gina talks with Mum

Gina finished the cigarette and ground it out under her shoe. She ran her fingers through her hair and walked toward the door. Stopping she turned back toward the street. She stood a second before turning again and with a determined stride walked to the door and knocked

Harry and Matt with Mum

(BACKDATED: occurs during the party, specifically during the first part and before the ceremony, collar ceremony )

Seeing Harry waiting where he'd left him when he'd run off to the loo, Matt grinned and made his way over. "Hey I'm back and boy you should have seen that lavatory! There were some things in there that I didn't recognize. And a woman cleaning a whip!!"

He suddenly realized that Harry was talking to someone else - a woman. "Oh I'm sorry ma'am. I didn't realize Harry was with someone. I'm Matt. Matt Damon."

It's lovely to meet you...Matt. I'm Juliet. Dominic's Mum.

Two to Tango

(follows the collaring ceremony)

Mum finished hugging Kevin and thanked him again for serving. Looking around the room, she made her way finally toward the buffet where she could swear she had seen the familiar head of Sean talking to Liam. Spotting Liam now alone, she sighed but took what she could. "Liam? How are you darling?"

A nice sweet dance for the mother of the groom?

Backstory - Harry and Sean at Mum's house

(takes place in the past, Dom 12, Elijah 8, and Sean about to embark on fatherhood himself)

"... there's plenty more roast Harry. Don't be shy now - even if you do know I'll be packing up some of the leftovers for you." Mum handed the plate to him as she smiled down at their nearly empty plates. This had been such a great idea - having both of her boys over for a nice hearty meal.

Ahhh - a nice home cooked meal followed by THE SHOW of Balize's finest, yada yada bla bla rock stars

Mum visits Harry

Mum thanked the security guard who'd brought her up to Sean's room. "Thank you luv. Give your wife my best. And for the tenth time, if she tells you she wants to make love then believe her. Heavens you men think women go to pieces when we're pregnant."

He blushed and left her just as she winked at him. Knocking the door, she braced herself to override any objections from her Harry.

Taking care of Harry

Backstory of when Mum met Harry

Re-reading Harry's latest email which had already sent her into giggles more than once, Juliet sighed and wished him back to Balize already. Dear sweet Harry. All gruff and marshmallow. One particular line instantly conjured her image of him the very first time they met.

Who in bloody hell are you and what are you doing in my Sean's rooms?
