Dressed in faded denim with a thick black leather belt and a sleeveless t-shirt, a barefoot Christian turned around as if startled. “Wha . . . Oh, your Majesty. I’m sorry. No, no I wasn’t. I haven’t seen Caeline since lunchtime. I was in Palace, looking for my father. He hides out down here.”
