It's the transition that's killing me. How the direction that this is leading is so obvious, and yet Elijah doesn't see it, and won't see it- even if someone pointed it out to him. Jess plays it so damned well that it hurts to write. Especially since this is only partway through this arc, and I know some of what's coming.
