Rushing Away
[Takes place on a Monday, four weeks after the day Johnny got mobbed at school.]
Not even eight in the morning and already Christian was feeling stressed. And in his own bedroom, no less. He was half-dressed, his tie hanging loose around his neck, one shoe on, the other in his hand and he was trying to answer 'important' messages on his com with the other. Today was going to be one hell of a day. He sighed internally, contemplating the umpteenth wedding rehearsal of this week, the meeting with the Council, his five appointments in the office, all before lunch and decided, privilege be damned, he'd rather be a woodcutter. Tie tied and both shoes on the correct feet, he pocketed his com and headed out into the living room, rolling his eyes as he passed the kitchen and noticed that last night's washing up had not yet been done. Great. Just... yeah.
