I've spoken with David again, and he says that the Head of the East Wing is actually looking for an assistant--so he is going to be the one to interview you I think. I'm...not sure if you're familiar with the East Wing here? But as you'd just be an assistant...I think it should be fine?
His name is Mads, last name Mikkelsen if what I've found is correct. You can contact him yourself I think, and it should be fine. I've never met him, but everyone who speaks of him speaks highly.
